Parent reading day
Miller-Driscoll School hosted its annual Parents as Reading Partners day on Tuesday, March 1. Parents of kindergarten, first and second grade students had the opportunity to read to their children and have their children read to them. The annual event enforces the concept that if children see their parents reading, and if they read with their parents on a regular basis, they have a better chance of becoming successful readers themselves.
