wilton-continuing-ed-FULLIs this the year to finally get in shape physically, or maybe brain exercises are the plan for 2015?

“If you’ve made New Year’s resolutions, Wilton Continuing Education is the place to keep them,” says Dolores Tufariello, coordinator of Wilton Continuing Education. Brochures will reach Wilton households this week and the online catalog has been open since mid-December. To register, visit wiltoncontinuinged.org to review course offerings at any time during the year.

There are 145 classes to explore and Wilton Continuing Education has launched more than 25 new programs this semester to meet the requests of the community.

“Maintaining healthy living, developing life-long skills, meeting new people and strengthening relationships are all rewards of being part of the Wilton Continuing Education community,” Ms. Tufariello said.

A sampling of new classes include day and evening tennis clinics, with a variety of instructors at Four Season’s Racquet Club, a beginner running clinic and a 6 a.m. Bootcamp, as well as other fitness classes for those who have resolved to burn off those extra holiday calories.

For those just looking to relax and explore, there are classes in Beekeeping, Ceramics, Colored Pencil, Energy Healing, Flower Essences, Planting by the Stars, Finding Your Soulmate using the Stars, Canning 101 & 201, plus a generous number of cooking classes from the very basic to the more fit and trendy.

Those who have resolved to stay connected locally and globally may register   for classes in Google Cloud, Facebook for Business and LinkedIn, beginner and advanced.

Classes are held at Wilton public schools or in businesses in the Wilton, Ridgefield and Norwalk communities.
