A free program on cheese-making is planned for Thursday evening, Jan. 15th at 7 p.m., at the historic Cannon Grange Hall at 25 Cannon Road.
The interactive seminar is part of Cannon Grange’s year-long series of programs on healthy living. The program is open to all who would enjoy learning about making different cheeses and yogurt at home.
This program may be is of special of interest to middle school and high school students who are learning about food science and nutrition, and of interest to adults who would like to learn more about making artisanal cheeses.
Leading the program will be John Kriz, of Cannon Grange, during which time sample cheese and yogurt will be made. Recipes and kits of supplies will be available, as well as a resource center of books and videos.
Membership in Cannon Grange is open to all, age 14 years and above. Wilton residency is not required. Annual membership dues are $40.
