Candidates vying to represent the 143rd state house district will face off in three debates this month. The first is tomorrow night.
Incumbent Republican Gail Lavielle and Democratic challenger Keith Rodgerson will meet twice in Westport and once in Wilton.
The schedule is:
•Wednesday, Oct. 8, 7-9 p.m., at Westport Town Hall, sponsored by the Westport League of Women Voters;
•Tuesday, Oct. 21, 7 p.m., at Trackside Teen Center, 15 Station Road, sponsored by the Wilton League of Women Voters.
•Thursday, Oct. 23, 7-9 p.m., Earthplace in Westport. This debate is on environmental issues.
The 143rd District encompasses portions of Wilton, Westport and Norwalk.
