Marion M. Tait
Marion M Tait, 75, died Aug. 26, 2015, at her home in Wilton, Conn., with her family by her side. She was a Wilton resident for 44 years.
She was born June 20,1940 in Barrhead, Scotland, to Thomas and Marion McInally, and came to the United States in 1962. She married her husband, William, in 1964 — she always joked that, “she came all the way from Scotland and ended up married to a Scotsman!”
She was a homemaker and raised her four children with a dry wit, love and perseverance. Her strength and fiery personality kept her going through years of health issues.
May is survived by her husband of 51 years, William, three sons, and daughter and their spouses; Scott and Jeri Tait, Ross and Patti Tait, Eric and Melissa Tait and Sandra and Marc Fritzer; and her 10 grandchildren.
Services will be private. Donations may be made in Marion’s memory to Development Department at Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County, P. O. Box 489, Wilton, CT 06897.
