Sara Dickinson scored five goals and the Wilton High girls lacrosse team held Danbury scoreless for the first 36 minutes of the game, as the Warriors defeated the Hatters 12-5 on Monday in Danbury.
The win ended Wilton’s three-game losing skid, improving the Warriors’ record to 3-3.
The Warriors led at halftime, 8-0.
Makenna Pearsall had two goals and three assists, and Eva Greco also had two goals.
Scoring on goal each were Rebecca Wistreich, Cecily Freliech and Erika Bonnist. Laine Parsons had an assist.
Lauren Guiry and Bianca Melillo each had two goals for Danbury (1-5), while Danielle Reisert had one goal. Eilish Nobes had 15 saves in goal.
Wilton finished with a 27-7 edge in shots on goal.
