Because it anticipates a robust response to its consideration of weighted grades at the high school, the Board of Education has moved its next meeting on Thursday, April 23, 7 p.m., to the Wilton High School Little Theater.
The board is considering revising its policy regarding weighted grades. Presently students do not receive extra credit for taking advanced placement or honors courses and every student is graded uniformly on a 4.0 scale. Other districts do weight grades, giving extra credit for more strenuous courses.
