Paint, Draw & More! and the Georgetown School of the Arts will offer three art sessions through Wilton Continuing Education this fall.
Cartooning
Children ages 8-11 can learn to create and develop cartoon characters and story lines with associated dramatic illustration in Cartooning 1.
The Monday classes, taught by Steve Burke, will be held at Cider Mill School, from 2:30 to 3:30.
The session runs Sept. 22 through Nov. 17 and costs $195 per eight-week session, with $59 of the fee supporting Wilton Continuing Education.
Drawing
On Tuesdays, from 3:30 to 4:30, children ages 5-8 can use various materials to draw what they see and enhance their drawings with their own creative ideas in a nonjudgmental, creative environment.
Drawing Mixed Media classes, taught by Steve Burke, will take place at the Miller-Driscoll School. The program runs Sept. 23 through Dec. 2.
The Drawing Mixed Media classes are $195 per eight-week session, with $59 of the fee supporting Wilton Continuing Education.
Printmaking
From Sept. 18 through Nov. 13, students ages 8-13 can learn a variety of printing techniques through the use of a printing press and other mediums.
Jo-Ann Claybourne will teach the 4-5:30 Printmaking Mixed Media classes on Thursdays at the Georgetown School of Arts, 25 Old Mill Road, in West Redding.
The Printmaking Mixed Media classes are $220 per six-week session, with all materials provided.
