Kyle Jonas scored in overtime to lift the Wilton High boys hockey team past Amity, 3-2, on Friday night in West Haven.
The Warriors (3-5) had taken a 2-1 lead on David Craven’s goal early in the third period. But Amity (1-6-1) got a goal from Kevin Ryan to tie the score with 4:29 to play.
Neither team scored in the remainder of the third period, sending the game into overtime.
Wilton’s opening goal came in the second period on a blast from the right side by defenseman Jameson Hill. Hill’s goal tied the game at 1-1.
Harrison Koch, Luke Rizzo and Mark Donahue had assists for the Warriors, who outshot Amity, 35-24.
Wilton goalie Kyle Buckley finished with 22 saves.
