A free, weekly support group for caregivers will begin Jan. 20 at the offices of Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County. The group will meet Tuesday afternoons from 1:30 to 3 through March 10. Registration is required by calling 203-834-6341, ext. 255.
Laurie Petrasanta, a counselor with the nursing agency, will lead the group where caregivers may “talk with others in similar circumstances, where they will find empathy and a special kind of understanding that isn’t available anywhere else.”
The group will meet in the agency’s offices in Suite 114 of the Health and Wellness Center at 761 Main Avenue (Route 7) on the Wilton/Norwalk town line.
