Girls 13 to 18 years old are invited to join a free, eight-week program for teen Lyme disease patients. The program, offered by Lyme Connection, will meet from noon to 1:30, beginning Sept. 13, at the offices of educational psychologist Dr. Roseann Capanna-Hodge, 898 Ethan Allen Highway in Ridgefield.

The girls will learn mindfulness skills to help them better manage the stress of illness.

Registration is required; email group facilitator Katy Reid Notaro at ctyouthlyme@gmail.com.

Lyme Connection also sponsors monthly evening and afternoon support groups for Lyme disease patients at the Ridgefield Visiting Nurse Assoc. offices. Information about all groups and events can be found at LymeConnection.org.

Lyme Connection is an all-volunteer initiative founded by the Ridgefield Lyme Disease Task Force.
