Fabio Correa, 82, of Norwalk, died with his loving family by his side, on Sunday, Dec. 21, 2014 at Wilton Meadows. Born in Medellin, Colombia, the son of the late Arcadio and Elvira Correa Velez, he was the husband of the late Judith Correa.
A retired draftsman at Perkin-Elmer Corp., he had a passion for cars and loved music and dancing, especially the tango and salsa styles. Mr. Correa also enjoyed soccer, boxing and was a big Dallas Cowboys fan.
He is survived by his children Gloria Solerti of Norwalk, Marti Correa Ingerman of Wilton, Patricia Correa Eckert of Monroe, Maribel Correa of Sleepy Hollow, N.Y. and Fabio Nicolas Correa of Stamford; six grandchildren, Zack and Taylor Ingerman, Andres Acuna, Christian Solerti, Luca, Ava Luna and Paloma Dominguez; two brothers, Alberto and Jairo Correa, as well as several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 on Tuesday, Dec. 23, at St. Philip Church, 1 Fr. Conlon Place, Norwalk, with burial to follow at St. John Cemetery, Norwalk. His family will receive friends on Monday, Dec. 22, from 6 to 8, at the Magner Funeral Home, 12 Mott Avenue, Norwalk.
