Visiting Nurse & Hospice of Fairfield County has been named a Top Agency of 2014 by HomeCare Elite.
This award means the Wilton-based nonprofit organization was recognized as one of the top-performing home health care agencies in the United States.
On an annual basis, HomeCare Elite identifies the top 25% of Medicare-certified home health care agencies across the country, using an analysis of performance measures including quality outcomes, best practice implementation, patient experience, quality improvement and consistency.
The award is sponsored by OCS HomeCare by National Research Corporation, a provider of home health metrics and analytics, and DecisionHealth, publisher of the independent newsletter in the home health profession, Home Health Line.
According to the organization’s President and CEO, Sharon Bradley, this award is emblematic of the organization’s commitment to service.
