To the Editors:

On Sunday, Sept. 28, we celebrated our 14th Annual Ambler Farm Day. The summer-like weather drew hundreds of neighbors to a fall fair that has become a wonderful Wilton tradition.

We would like to express our sincere thanks to our amazing volunteers who made Ambler Farm Day run seamlessly — from Scarecrows to Hay Maze to Concessions and everything in between. It was great to work with you!

We would like to thank our event sponsors, BankWell, Durants Party Rentals, GOOD Morning Wilton, and Moments by Andrea Photography. We would also like to thank the following businesses and organizations for their generous support: Aspetuck Apple Barn, Blue Jay Orchards, Bob’s Your Uncle Band, Haydenville Broomworks, Jared Silbersher, Kuss Farms, Nestle Water, Stateline Landscaping, The Painted Cookie, Town and Country, Town of Wilton, Uncle Leo’s, Village Market, Wilton CERT, Wilton Dept. of Public Works, Wilton Family Y, Wilton Fire Dept., Wilton Historical Society, Wilton Newcomers Club, Wilton Parks & Recreation, Wilton Pony Club, and Wilton Volunteer Medical Corp.

Thank you also to our volunteers who worked at the various activities, and those who made pies and other baked goods, especially Mary Kimberlin and Debbie Corrigan. Thank you to the groups who provided many of our youth volunteers, especially Ambler Farm Apprentices, Key Club, and Our Lady of Fatima.

Last but not least, a special thanks to Program Manager Kevin Meehan, Director of Agriculture Jonathan Kirschner, and Coordinator Robin Clune. This event could not happen without the countless hours you all spend sharing your time and talents with the farm.

A final thanks to everyone who came out and attended Ambler Farm Day. We hope you had a wonderful time, and that we see you again next year any time you stop by the Farm!
