Diners prepare. The Wilton Chamber of Commerce will kick off its first ever fall Restaurant Week, which will run from Monday, Oct. 20 through Sunday, Oct. 26, coinciding with the Scarecrow Fest.

All restaurants and eateries  in Wilton and Georgetown are invited to participate by featuring special culinary selections or one-week-only pricing to encourage diners to come for lunch or dinner.

“After the outstanding success of the Chamber’s spring event, we are thrilled to sponsor a fall Wilton Restaurant Week,” Chamber President Patrick Russo said. “Wilton has so many diverse cuisines to choose from including Southwestern, Italian, Asian, French, Mexican and American, but a lot of people just return to the same familiar places each time they dine out. Restaurant Week provides the opportunity to explore new tastes and revisit favorites who are offering different specials that week.”

Chamber Executive Director Janeen Leppert added, “We hope residents and visitors from surrounding towns will invite their families, friends, and colleagues to join them at one of the many featured restaurants and eateries for a fun and delicious experience sampling the very best culinary specialties we have to offer.”

Participating restaurants will custom-design their own prix-fixe menus or offer promotional specials. The Chamber will be supporting Restaurant Week through extensive publicity and marketing materials. For more information, or to find out how to participate, call Ms. Leppert at 203-762-0567 or email info@wiltonchamber.com.
