Honest Abe
Abraham Lincoln as imagined here looks like an embodiment of his log cabin upbringing. The wooden sculpture, which bears a striking resemblance to its likeness, is delightfully affixed with a top-hat, bow-tie, and cane. It was seen by The Bulletin on a Deforest Road property on April 15. Old Rail-Splitter in this photograph needs to find a new nickname. — Hayden Turek photo.
