To the Editors:

On behalf of the Norwalk River Valley Trail steering committee and all our volunteers, we wish to express our gratitude to the Wilton Woman’s Club for selecting the trail as the recipient of their 50th Anniversary Best Foot Forward Fashion Show and FUNdraiser on April 1st.

The Woman’s Club has been a cornerstone of our civic life during their 50 years in Wilton and we would like to thank them, especially co-chairs Donna Sargeantson and Stacy Crameri, and the team of dedicated volunteers, who made this a supremely successful event. As an influential community leader, the Wilton Woman’s Club’s support has raised the profile of the Norwalk River Valley Trail and strengthens our community’s commitment to see this project through.

The event will have a swift and tangible impact. With the generosity of the woman’s club and their guests, we will reach our immediate financial goal to build an impressive 200-foot boardwalk which will take the newest section of trail to Twin Oaks Lane. In the months to come, as you walk the trail and over the new boardwalk, know that this was made possible through the generosity of the Wilton Woman’s Club.

Patricia Sesto, Chairman
Norwalk River Valley Trail
