Old Highway will be closed to thru-traffic between Powder Horn Hill Road and Sharp Hill Road on Friday, March 18.
The closure is planned to accommodate some utility work in the area. A notice from the Wilton Police Department said it will not affect Friday’s morning school bus commute.
The road will close at approximately 8:30 a.m. It will reopen at 2 p.m. for afternoon school bus drop-offs before closing again at 4 p.m. Police anticipate the work will be done around 6 p.m.
The Wilton Police Department urges motorists to plan their travel arrangements in accordance with the road closure.
This road closure was originally planned for Monday, March 14, but got postponed due to rain that day.
