Need someone to do an odd-job? Why not try QuadJobs?
QuadJobs is a Fairfield County start-up that pairs undergraduate and graduate students with residents looking for short-term employees.
“We’ve taken the Uber model and applied it to finding smart, flexible help for your home and business,” says QuadJobs representative Birdie Loverro.
“Every job a college student takes is tracked through our site, including reviews from employers. This creates a clear track record of work experience.”
The resource launched to students in mid-August, and the response has been “overwhelming,” Ms. Loverro said.
Students from Fairfield, Sacred Heart, UConn Stamford, Bridgeport, and Norwalk Community College, have already signed up and will be ready to work when the site goes live on Oct. 6.
