The Wilton Republican Town Committee will have a grand opening of its election campaign headquarters Thursday, Oct. 9, from 6 to 8, at 151 Old Ridgefield Road, where the Coffee Story café used to be. The office is currently open.

The committee expects a number of state and local candidates will attend the grand opening. The community is invited to join them; refreshments and hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Al Alper, chairman of the Wilton RTC said, “We intend to staff the HQ seven days a week from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday and 12 to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

“We will have campaign literature, absentee voting information, voter registration cards, lawn signs, palm cards and campaign buttons available for local, state and the congressional races.  Of course, for anyone who would like to get involved in the campaign, our headquarters is a great place to find out how.”
