Team Change

The Adult Design Team and Student Leadership Team at Middlebrook, also known as Team Change, worked to advance initiatives to support positive school climate.

Adults discussed ongoing efforts like mindfulness training, random acts of kindness and creating greater awareness of the Team Change mission, while students worked on action projects that included:

  • Humans of Middlebrook School (similar to “Humans of New York”).
  • Memes focused on kindness posted throughout the school.
  • A video featuring Team Change, which will be broadcast to the school community.
  • A cyber-bullying awareness presentation.

Make A Difference

After finishing a unit on developed and developing nations, seventh graders donated $1,398.18 to Heifer International for their Make A Difference fundraising campaign this year. The money will provide families in developing nations with education, farm animals and fresh water.

Collaborative concert

The Middlebrook and Wilton High School bands demonstrated their musical expertise during a concert in the Clune Center auditorium on Wednesday, Jan. 13, and received standing ovations from the audience.
