Elder law discussion
Wilton attorney Christine Tenore begins a four-part series on common questions regarding later life on Wednesday, Jan. 27, at 1:30 in the senior center. This month’s meeting will cover the new Connecticut Power of Attorney Act, living wills, and the new Connecticut health care directive called Medicare Orders for Life-Sustaining Treatment (MOLST).
Coming up is a discussion of wills, trusts and probate on Feb. 24, long-term care alternatives and Medicaid regulations on March 23, and a recap Q&A on April 27.

Hawaiian music

Studio knitting
Warm up on chilly winter days with a knitting or crocheting project Monday, Jan. 25, from 1 to 2:30. Novices can get some pointers and practice with supplied materials. Liz Doty is the instructor.
Jewelry workshop
January brings a bonus jewelry class with Viola Galetta on Friday, Jan. 29, from 10 to noon. No experience necessary; materials available for purchase. $5 drop-in fee.
