At the Jan. 4 meeting of the Board of Selectmen, three officials interviewed that night were appointed, each by a unanimous vote.
Both Jennifer Kendra and Sarah Gioffre were appointed to the Parks and Recreation Commission.
Steve DiNapoli, who First Selectman Lynne Vanderslice said owns his own hazardous abatement company, was appointed to serve on the Miller-Driscoll Building Committee.
“I thought they were all really impressive people,” said Selectman Michael Kaelin at the meeting. “I’m very grateful people like that are volunteering to serve on these commissions.”
