The Wilton High field hockey team continued its unbeaten start to the 2014 season with a 6-0 triumph over Trumbull on Friday in Wilton.
The Warriors are now 7-0 and have outscored the opposition by a combined 34-1.
Delaney Baxendale scored two goals for Wilton, which led 3-0 at halftime.
Jillian Mahon, Delaney Chase, Maddie Duffy and Katie Leffel added one goal apiece for the winners.
Megan Cunningham contributed two assists, and Kristen Godin and Mahon each had one assist.
Wilton goalie Amanda Hendry made four saves for the shutout.
It was Wilton’s third consecutive victory by a score of 6-0.
