A Wilton police investigation found a wanted Danbury resident in New Milford on Nov. 29 around 10 p.m.
Josh Beers, 33, of 32 Jeanette Road, Danbury, had an active warrant issued by Wilton police for his arrest on the charge of third-degree assault, which he was accused of after an incident of family violence, police said.
After Beers was apprehended in New Milford, Wilton police found he was also wanted by the Danbury police for failure to respond to an infraction.
Beers was transported to Wilton police headquarters, where he was held on $75 bond and was subsequently arraigned at Norwalk Superior Court on Nov. 30.
