The original artwork of Douglas Smith, HAN Network’s editorial cartoonist, is on display at Trumbull Library for the entire month of December.
Smith’s weekly cartoons appear in each of the HAN Network’s 13 newspapers, including The Wilton Bulletin and The Trumbull Times.
He is a four-time recipient of the New England Newspaper & Press Association’s award for editorial cartooning as well as a two-time recipient of the Connecticut Society of Professional Journalist’s award for editorial cartooning.
The author of seven ebooks, Smith’s characters Police Dog and Para-Cat can be seen on Youtube. He is also available for freelance illustration work.
