At the selectmen’s Nov. 16 meeting, First Selectman Bill Brennan announced that a tentative, special Board of Selectmen meeting will take place on Tuesday, Nov. 24, for the purpose of approving the appointment of a new chief financial officer to replace Sandy Dennies, who is stepping down at the end of November.
