Bocce champs
The Wilton Library Bocce Brawlers took home the championship trophy and a check for $1,200 at the First Annual Branchville Charity Bocce Tournament, held on Sept. 12 on the Ancona’s Wines & Liquors bocce court in Ridgefield. The team played several games throughout the day, edging out the team from Ann’s Place to garner first place. From left are Mitch Ancona, sponsor of the event and game referee, Jeff Hancock, Justin Bartholomew, Michael Crystal and Jon Waxberg. Alex Ancona is the trophy presenter.
