Two weeks before the first day of school, Miller-Driscoll will host a scavenger hunt to help new students and incoming kindergartners get familiar with the school building.
The “self-directed” hunt will take place Tuesday, Aug. 11, from 9:30 to noon, according to Miller-Driscoll’s website.
Meet the Teacher Day
Students will also get the chance to see their classrooms and meet their classmates and teachers on Thursday, Aug. 27, when Miller-Driscoll hosts its Meet the Teacher Day.
Kindergartners may visit from 9 to 9:45, and first and second graders may visit from 10 to 10:45.
The first day of school for Wilton Public School students is scheduled for Tuesday, Aug. 31.
