The G&B Cultural Center is displaying the artwork of James R. Pascucci until September. — Kendra Baker photo
Visual Impressions, a retrospective of the paintings of James R. Pascucci, is on display through Sept. 30, at the G&B Cultural Center in Wilton.
Pascucci’s work is inspired by natural light and the colors of nature. He has painted a profusion of beach and harbor scenes, as well as finding inspiration in the gardens, flowers, barns, fences, and antique shops he introduces into his work.
A graduate of the Whitney School of Art in New Haven (now the Paier School of Design) he had a career in the corporate world rendering technical drawings.
For many years he had his own gallery, The Art Alcove, on Route 7 in Ridgefield.
