Dmitri Wright
Author and painting instructor Dmitri Wright will sign his new book, My Dancing Brush: Insights & Reflections on How To Be an Impressionist, Thursday, June 18, 6 to 8 p.m., at Silvermine Arts Center, 1037 Silvermine Road, New Canaan. The signing coincides with the opening of an exhibition of Wright’s artwork from the book as well as new works.
Wright, who is a master artist/instructor at Weir Farm National Historic Site, will give a short presentation of his philosophies and methods and what he calls “the seven principles of the intuitive way.” A portion of the proceeds of the sale of the book will go towards the Silvermine School of Art Scholarship Fund.
