To the Editors:
The Wilton Rotary Club thanks the Wilton community for its help in securing the success of our 25th Annual Craft Show which took place the Saturday of Memorial Day weekend on the Wilton Town Green. More than $4,500 was raised, all for charity.
Our special thanks for our primary sponsors — Bouton Funeral Home, the Wilton Eye Center, Gregory and Adams PC., MCL Ventures, Realty Seven, Sun Products Corporation and Paul’s Prosperous Printing LLC, — and also to our many “secondary” sponsors from the business community who purchased advertisements in our event program. Also to our friends in the media — The Wilton Bulletin, Good Morning Wilton and the Wilton Villager — which provided free publicity, and to all those who gave us permission to put yard signs in front of their homes. We are also grateful to Stop & Shop which furnished donuts for the crafters, volunteers and shoppers at no charge for at least the 10th consecutive year.
Our thanks to First Selectman William F. Brennan and all the department heads in the Town of Wilton who provided us with the necessary permits, and to the new kid on the block, Paragon Realty, for allowing us to use their facilities at the Town Green.
And most of all, thanks to the patrons of our vendors who did their Holiday shopping in May, once again. Your patronage of our crafters helps ensure that they will come back next year.
