Since its inception 12 years ago, the trust has permanently saved 2,600 acres of farmland in the state and helped to protect 1,000 more. Trust Board President Mike Fotos said, ‘The Finks’ hospitality created a wonderful opportunity to learn about sustainable agriculture in Connecticut.
