The Wilton High gymnastics team placed fourth at Saturday’s Class M state championships, held at Pomperaug High School in Southbury.
The Warrior had a team score of 129.55, finishing behind Daniel Hand (138.1), New Milford (136.75) and Darien (134.925), but ahead of Pomperaug (128.975), Conard (126.65), Hall (115.55) and Joel Barlow (108.65).
Highlights were a score of 8.9 by Meredith Nash on the floor that was the sixth best overall, and Riley Wadehra’s 8.175 on bars that was seventh best overall. Sara Posson placed 11th overall on vault with an 8.5. Izzy Meltzer was tenth on bars with an 8.075, while Sam Farhi and Alex Uriarte tied for 12th with 7.925s.

Bars — Riley Wadehra 8.175, Izzy Meltzer 8.075, Alex Uriarte 7.925, Sam Farhi 7.925;
Beam — Morgan Leddy 7.7, Sam Farhi 7.675, Pheobe Kamp 7.4, Alex Uriarte 7.275;
Floor — Meredith Nash 8.9, Alex Uriarte 8.5, Izzy Meltzer 8.4, Morgan Leddy 8.4.
